This document provides instructions to integrate PipeDrive with UPSSO based on SAML protocol.

PREREQUISITES

  1. Administrator access to the PipeDrive portal.

  2. Administrator access to UPSSO portal

DOWNLOADING THE IDP CERTIFICATE

  1. Login into the UPSSO portal.

  2. Click on the “IDP Resources” link and then the “DOWNLOAD IDP Certificate” button.

  3. Save the file.

CONFIGURING PIPEDRIVE APPLICATION IN UPSSO

  1. Login into the UPSSO portal.

  2. Click on the “Application Management” menu and then click new record button and select SAML application as highlighted below.

3. Click on add PipeDrive application icon.

4. Please enter your company PipeDrive Domain name.

5. Click on SAVE button.

CONFIGURING UPSSO SAML IN PIPEDRIVE

  1. Login into the PipeDrive application as an administrator user.

  2. Go to profile on the right header ,click on company settings.

  3. Search for security center and click on single-sing-on.

  4. Enter SAML configuration for Pipedrive.

Issuer : https://<YOUR_UPSSO_DOMAIN_NAME>/upsso/get-idp-metadata

Single Sign On (SSO) url : https://<YOUR_UPSSO_DOMAIN_NAME>/upsso/upsso-service

X.509 certificate : Upload from above step (DOWNLOADING THE IDP CERTIFICATE)

6. Click and test the integration.

TESTING THE INTEGRATION

  1. Make sure to logout from PipeDrive.

  2. Login into the UPSSO portal as a user having the same email address as a PipeDrive user.

  3. Click on the PipeDrive icon.

  4. Select the OTP method and enter the OTP and click on the Verify button.

5.User will be logged into the application.

Administrator could mention the company name and access the above link directly

Non-admin will not have the access to above link and has to go through SSO
